Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, identifying their office furniture needs, and offering tailored solutions that drive sales and satisfaction.

You’ll work directly with architects, designers, and business owners to provide high-end office furniture solutions. If you’re an ambitious self-starter with a passion for sales and a love for design and office environments, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and research.
  • Client Meetings: Meet with potential and existing clients in person to assess their needs and present customized office furniture solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Create compelling proposals, deliver presentations, and provide product demos to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop long-term relationships with clients and maintain regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest office furniture trends and product offerings to provide the best recommendations to clients.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including design, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in CRM software.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the office furniture or design industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • A passion for interior design, workspace optimization, and high-quality office furniture.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.

The Customer Service & Orders Representative is responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing order processing, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across multiple touchpoints. The role requires effective communication with customers, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:Customer Service:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Resolve customer issues or complaints by investigating concerns, identifying solutions, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update customer account information and order history in the company’s CRM system.
  • Provide product information, including pricing, availability, and specifications, to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Shipping, and Warehouse) to ensure customer requirements are met.

Order Processing:

  • Review incoming orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is captured (e.g., delivery details, payment method).
  • Process orders in the company’s order management system, ensuring timely and accurate order entry.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order statuses, including delays or shipping issues.
  • Monitor the status of open orders and coordinate with production and shipping teams to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing and refining customer service procedures to improve efficiency and satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and transactions.
  • Report customer feedback, trends, or recurring issues to management to improve product offerings and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, order processing, or a related role.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and order management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
