About Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo is a fortune 500 company in the financial sector and is one of the largest companies in the United States. They are dedicated to sustainability with strict guidelines on how to dispose of assets at the end of their lifecycle.

Coming Up with the Plan

We were invited to this project by Pearl Commercial and were told this would be a big job to complete in a small timeframe. There were 2,183 stations and 4,000 chairs spread across at 265,000 square foot facility that was 4 floors tall. We were tasked with reselling, recycling, and relocating the product to keep waste to 5%.

Our Approach

So, we contacted our dealer network to introduce over 87% of the product back into the secondary market. We used the freight elevator and about halfway through the project, the elevator went down.

We discussed our options and adjusted to removing all product through the passenger elevators, assisting Wells Fargo in keeping their additional costs to a minimum.
