Coming Up with the Plan

We were brought into the project by McCoy Rockford the Steelcase dealer out of Houston, Texas. They were providing the new furniture and needed solutions to remove 24 floors.

Services We Provided:

Our Approach

There were approximately 700 offices or cubicles spread across all 24 floors. We completed this over a period of 5 months, providing a small crew during normal working hours and a large crew from 9 pm to 5 am. The docks were underground and the safety protocols were strict.

Another challenge was two thirds of the project were from 30 to 54 floors. With numerous elevator failures, we were able to meet the obligation and remove approximately ninety-six 53′ trailers of furniture out of the building.

Final Result

We completed this first task with a cost savings of 50% in record time. Because of this, they asked us to remove the remaining 1200 offices and cubicles in 2.5 months.
